TUSCALI EVENT
Added July 27, 2009 by P Orth
Our “fam trip to Tuscany” in Topanga was an amazing experience!
The Tuscali Mountain Inn Luxury B & B owners, Bruce and Teresa Royer, went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and to create a memorable event.
There were breathtaking views from every angle. Teresa’s culinary expertise provided us with treats that included grilled summer vegetables and succulent shrimp. We mingled while sipping refreshing beverages, and enjoying the sounds of pianist Larry Cohn and vocalist Mogi Graham. There was also a surprise raffle of a Topanga T-shirt and a stainless-steel water bottle.
Bruce gave tours of the 3 acre property and of the stunning interior. He even addressed production needs by providing a map of all nearby parking options.
Jim Horwitz, from Councilman Bill Rosendahl’s office, arrived with his wife, Channa, to share the Tuscan-California experience. Sue Raymer from the Hollywood Reporter, as well as P3 Production Update Magazine publisher Jim Thompson, his wife Diane, and editor Sally Kemper and staff all came out to join the festivities.
It was a fantastic afternoon and the event was a great success. Thank you Bruce and Teresa Royer of Tuscali Mountain Inn, for hosting this LMGA event! We truly enjoyed our “Tuscan“ experience!
From the Events Committee Co-Chairs Marie Healy and Kris Bunting, we would like to acknowledge and thank our volunteers for helping with parking, shuttling, and directional signs. Thanks also to our volunteers for wrangling cones, the check-in table set up, and for greeting guests and managing the food collection for The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank- LMGA Food Drive:
Michael Cruz, Jason Dickson of La Brea Rentals, Serena Baker, Kim Crabb, Perri Fichtner, Brianna Burke and Alan Farkas.
As always, we welcome and encourage everyone to get involved. “Many hands make light work.”
