LOCATION MANAGERS APPOINT CHAIRMAN EMERITUS

The Location Managers Guild of America (LMGA) is pleased to announce its directors have unanimously voted to bestow the title of Chairman Emeritus on Orin Kennedy in recognition of his years of dedicated service to the Guild. As one of the LMGA's founding members, Kennedy served as Board Chairman from the Guild's inception until he retired from the position last year. Additionally, the LMGA is especially proud of Mr. Kennedy's unrelenting determination and ongoing efforts to secure recognition for location professionals within the Television Academy (ATAS). Kennedy, former, long-time location manager with David E. Kelley productions said, "I have had the honor and gratifying opportunity to help build an organization of location professionals whose creative and managerial talents are vital for the production of film, television and commercials. I am honored by my appointment as Chairman Emeritus and will always value the LMGA, its members and mission."
