The LMGA photography exhibit, "Last Looks: the Ambassador Hotel", was celebrated with a reception and silent charity auction of the prints at the film-friendly Wilshire Grand Hotel in Los Angeles. The evening was a great success, raising funds for Animo Film and Theater Arts High School. The well-attended event included guests from the Los Angeles Conservancy, the Set Decorators Society of America, Principal Steve Bachrach of Animo Film and Theater Arts, and Ray Ramos of Ambassador Locations.

"LMGA members, Kristi Frankenheimer, Lisa Blok-Linson, and Diane Friedman created a beautiful, enduring project," commented Beth Tate, auction organizer.  "It has meaning for the community historically, as well as on a personal level for the high school students and location managers who participated.  The images are striking."

The Wilshire Grand supplied a great spread of food and drink in the Los Angeles Ballroom. Additionally, the Wilshire Grand offered tours of their many filmable areas. "We're one of the few hotels that allow filming in the lobby as we have two levels and are able to lock down the area. The hotel also has 4 restaurants, a fantastic view of the city from our rooftop helipad, and a retro modern bar that is easily dressed to have various looks," says Marc Loge, director of public relations.
