Becoming a Member
BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE LMGA:
Any person, corporation, business, labor union, civic or community organization supporting the purposes of this corporation and meeting the requirements may apply for membership.
The LOCATION MANAGERS GUILD OF AMERICA, has five (5) classifications of membership:
Active Members:
Location Managers, Location Scouts and Assistant Location Managers working within the motion picture, television, commercial, video or print industries with at least 150 days. Voting rights. Click here for Active Member application.
Associate Members:
Emerging location managers, location scouts or assistant location managers who do not qualify for active membership, but would like to participate in guild activities as they gather their days. Non-voting. Click here for Associate Member application.
Business Membership:
Business Members may include but are not limited to the following: vendors, businesses or corporations supplying goods or services to the production industries as well as government, community and civic organizations. Non Voting. Click here for Business Member application.
Industry Membership:
Industry Members may include but are not limited to the following: industry labor unions/guilds, affiliated industry organizations or any individual working as a professional in any of the job classifications within the production industries. Non voting. Click here for Industry Member application.
Honorary Membership:
Honorary Membership is a way of recognizing persons who have demonstrated notable, exceptional or extraordinary achievement within the production. Contact membership@locationmanagers.org for more information.

LMGA APPLICATION PROCESS:
Fax or email your application, resume, and website release form to us. You may use the postal service, but this will significantly slow down the application process.
Once the Board approves your paperwork, you will be invoiced for your dues.
